I’m a children’s poet and poetry workshop leader for schools.
I write poems for publication –
I have about 160 poems to date in a range of national/international anthologies and other publications for youngsters.
I have a book, Wildlife Poems, for junior-aged children, which has received rewarding comments from poets Roger McGough, Ian McMillan and Brian Moses.
I lead poetry workshops –
I have provided over 1,500 workshop visits to date, for schools & libraries across England & Wales.
I write articles –
I write articles for magazines, especially those for teachers, such as Practical Pre-School, Primary Teacher Update, Teaching Times (Creative Teaching and Learning), Teach Secondary and The Guardian’s Teacher Network (online).
